Cancel TX

On this page, we are going to describe how to cancel a transaction

Before using Cancel TX please check MultiSend to understand how this module works

Option#1

This option works if transaction contains Rune/Inscription and Utxo with BTC balance

Step#1 Go to the MultiSend, you can also find it by going to Bitioll main page

Step#2 Click on "TX REMOVE" to see all your pendings transactions

Step#3 Select your transaction that you want to cancel

Step#4 Enter your wallet address in the first line and amount of sats in the second line

Probably, you have a question about how many sats you need to enter

Amount of sats = your input UTXO - Fee(It depends on the average fee rate in the BTC blockchain)

Let's say my input is 42000 sats. If I enter 40000 sats in the second line, my remaining 2000 sats would go to pay for the fee

Remember, your newly created transaction must have a higher fee rate than the transaction you want to cancel ! Also, if you have multiple UTXOs in one pending transaction, you only need to send one of your UTXOs to your wallet; there is no need to send all UTXOs

Step#5 Click on the "Send" button to create your transaction

Step#6 Sign transaction Always check what you sign!!!

Option#2

This option works if the transaction contains only Rune/Inscription (if you are selling Rune/Inscription)

Step#1 Go to the MultiSend, you can also find it by going to Bitioll main page

Step#2 Click on "TX REMOVE" to see all your pendings UTXOs

Step#3 Select your UTXO with Rune/Inscription

Step#4 Select your additional UTXO with Type: utxo

It needs to be selected to pay for the fee

Step#5 Add an additional output by clicking on 'Field'

Step#6 Enter your wallet address in both the first and second output

Step#7 Enter the amount of sats contained in your Rune/Inscription

You can check how many sats are contained in your Rune/Inscription by looking at your selected Utxo

My inscription contains 600 sats, so I need to enter 600 sats

Step#8 Enter amount of sats for fee

How do you determine how many sats you need to enter?

The fee will be calculated as your Utxo amount minus the entered sats

My Utxo has 813372 sats. If I enter 810000 sats, 3372 sats will be used for the fee

At the bottom, you will be able to see how many sats you are paying for the fee and what your fee rate will be

Step#9 Click on the "Send" button to create your transaction

Step#10 Sign transaction Always check what you sign!!!
